Directions

From Raleigh/Durham/Greensboro/

Winston-Salem:

Take 40 West to Winston-Salem. Take 52 North to Blue Ridge Parkway, Turn right (South), go 3 miles to milepost 202.5, turn left into campground.

From Charlotte:

Take I-77 North to exit 8 in Virginia. Turn right at the end of the ramp and go approximately 3/4 mile to Hwy. 52. Turn right and go 1 mile, turn right onto Blue Ridge Parkway. Go 3 miles to milepost 202.5, turn left into campground.

From Wytheville/ Charleston

Take I-77 South to Virginia, exit 8. Go to the end of ramp, turn left and go approximately 3/4 mile. Turn right onto Hwy. 52 South. Go 1 mile to Blue Ridge Parkway, turn right onto Parkway (south). Go 3 miles to milepost 202.5, turn left into campground.

Fancy Gap Cabins & Campground

►There are 13 RV sites with full hook-ups (water, sewer, etc.). all have 30/50 amp services.

►There are 5 tent sites that have a raised 10x16 platform. With water and 20 amp receptacle.

►We also have 6 one-room cabins. These include a queen-size bed, futon that makes into a full-size bed, nightstand, clothes rod, microwave, refrigerator, ceiling fan, and we provide linens and towels for you. For your pleasure, 2 rocking chairs are on the front porch.

►All 6 cabins and all 5 tent sites have a fire ring, picnic table and grill.

►We also have 2-4 room motels. Motel rooms have Queen size beds with full size futon, each room can accommodate 4 adults. Refrigerators, microwaves, TV, 30+ channels.

►One handicapped accessible Room

►There is a Unisex Bathhouse providing 5 individual bathrooms with showers. All 5 bathrooms have tiled shower and floor.

►All sites, cabins, RV's and tents are located within 125 feet of the Bathhouse.

►360-degree beautiful mountain view.

►3400 feet in elevation

►Wonderful sunrises and great sunsets.

On a clear day you can see for miles. (From Pilot Mt. to Winston-Salem).

Daily Rates

Cabins - $50 per night - double

RV sites - $25 per night

Tent sites - $20 per night

Important Information

Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Please contact the office if you plan to stay past the checkout time.

Quiet time is from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please be considerate of others around you.

Please keep fires confined to campfire rings. Do not move rings.

The consumption of alcohol is allowed only at your cabin or campsite.

Speed limit throughout campground is 10 mph.

No firearms or fireworks are allowed.

Pets must be kept on leash and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.

No ATV's or dirt bikes, please

Please do not cut or drive nails into trees

Smoking is not permitted in cabins or bathhouse. Please do not throw cigarette butts on ground.

Please let us know if our bath rooms need attention or supplies.

Due to outdoor nature of camping, we do not refund because of bad weather.

Virginia law prohibits discharge of sewage, sink or shower waste water onto the ground. All RV sites have sewer connections.

We are not responsible for accidents, theft or property damage. Please be careful, as you enter at your own risk.
